Best DeCaf I’ve Tasted

I love this coffee. Chiapas is my favorite coffee and this decaf comes close to tasting like the real thing. This is my first time buying from Bodi Leaf as I normally buy my green beans from a “sweeter” place, but I’m so impressed that I immediately ordered an addition ten pounds and will now look to Bodi Leaf first.

Balanced and rounded flavor - be sure to sort before roasting!

Flavor-wise, this decaf is sweet like malted milk balls with some surprising brightness on the finish. Fairly light in body but that's to be expected. Also roasts pretty easily, once you get the hang of it (this was my first decaf). Took off a star because the prep/grading on this lot was... not great. Lots of shells/husks, broken beans and fragments, and split beans that needed to be sorted out before roasting. Took out about 9 grams of these types from a 125 gram batch I'd measured out. Maybe that's expected for decaf? Kind of a pain either way - maybe I just got the dregs at the bottom of the sack.

Not a fan

While the flavor is okay I find this to be quite weak. It take a lot of this coffee to make a strong cup. I myself prefer the Brazilian decaf bean.

farm to cup

We get our beans from the farms and roast coffee daily. We truly are farm to cup.
