Description: In 2014, 25 small coffee producers in the Casitas District, in the town of
CERTIFIED: Fairtrade, Organic Corquin, Copan formed the COOP called CAFESCOR – Cafes Especiales Corquin, S. A. de C. V. Since that time, the COOP has grown to over 131 partners farming over 400 cultivated hectares. With a wet mill in the community of Las Casitas and a dry mill in the community of Jimilile, the COOP partners are committed to continue growing and gaining recognition for excellence in coffee production.
Coffee is  handpicked by producers and delivered to CAFESCOR’s wet mill. At the mill, cherry is visually sorted and pulped. Coffee is fermented, washed in clean water, and laid on patios to begin drying. At this time workers inspect wet parchment and remove any damaged beans. Then, parchment is finished in a mechanical dryer that slowly dries parchment to 12% moisture.

This organic lot arrived with solid notes of Plum, Caramel, Hazelnut, and Milk Chocolate.

Easy & Versatile & Good

Roasted light, medium & dark on Behmor. Very consistent on 1st crack time and temp. Very uniform roast color. Not much chaff. Love the beans that roast so easy and consistent. So far all profiles have tasted great. Using it a lot as an ice coffee for the light has great flavors. I like this as well as the Honduras Copan Organic. Glad I tried this HTO Cafescor.

Tasty coffee Ripe stone fruits/ Chocolate

Clean roasting, minimal chaff, delicious at city/ full city roast. Hints of ripe stone fruits, plum/peach with a definite chocolate finish.
Very good green coffee at reasonable price.
