Description: The profile of typical Nariño coffees lends itself to producing some of the best quality naturals in the world. Grown at 1,850 meters above sea level, at the foot of the mountainous Juanambú Canyons, Buesaquito Natural is something special. Named for the region, Buesaco, which is a 45 minute drive from the city of Pasto, this lot comes from the ideal setting for coffee. It has favorable climatic, topographic, and land access conditions for coffee production. Being able to produce a coffee of this quality has encouraged the farmers who contribute to this lot to try experimental processes, leading to stand out positions at state level competitions.
This is a very limited lot, so we’re making it available exclusively to home roasters (and of course we roasted an extra big sample for us to drink). If you’re one who enjoys the finer things in life, Buesaquito Natural is for you. This is one of those coffees that doesn’t taste like “coffee”, it’s so rich with the fruity and juicy flavors. We get big notes of Strawberry and Grape Juice, with the brightness of Blackberry, and a dense sweetness like a Fudge Brownie. If you’re someone who gets their hands on this coffee, treat it like the special butterfly that it is.
