Description: Nariño is located in the southwest of Colombia. It is an ecologically and geographically diverse area made up of high mountain peaks, rivers, and volcanoes, creating many fantastic locales for coffee to grow. This, combined with the many coffee plantations situated above 1,800 meters, have given Nariño a reputation for singular and spectacular coffees.
This regional lot is grown between 1,300 and 2,300 meters above sea level in volcanic ash, with an average temperature of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The high elevation that this lot was grown at brings citric acidity and a sweet nuttiness.
