Description: Hacienda San Ignacio is located in Palmichal, Acosta, a rural community where coffee is the main commercial activity. The region has a high rainy season and dry season influenced by the pacific coast. 57% of the farm is dedicated to the protection of natural forests, with coffee plots separated by large forest areas. For 7 years, the farm has been part of an ecological protection program called FONAFIFO whose goal is to encourage sustainable practices by offering financing for such endeavors.
