In recent years Degfa has shifted the main focus of his washing stations to quality over volume, and it’s clear that his strides towards quality have paid off. Kochere is a woreda inside the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples of Ethiopia (SNNP). This region is home to some of the most famous coffee producing regions in the world, including Gedeb, Chelelektu, Yirgacheffe, and of course Kochere.
We loved this one on the cupping table, it was as fruity and clean as a washed Ethiopian gets. We got notes of Piña Colada and Peach, with the sweetness of Butterscotch, and a sweet finish like Shortbread Cookies.
