Description: This region is located inside Guji Zone of Oromia regional state of Ethiopia. Coffee farmers in Guji are small-scale landholders, but often have larger acres of land comparing to other coffee growers in the country. Farmers in this area have coffee trees at elevations ranging from 1,945 - 2,000 meters above sea level. Farmers speak mainly Afaan Oromo and Amharic languages.

What makes the process successful is the attention given to the details in the process from the day the cherry is picked from the tree until it arrives to the warehouse. In harvesting time, only fully matured coffee cherries are processed. The fully ripe cherries will be taken to the drying bed within 8 hours of picking.

Coffee traditionally grows in the understory of indigenous trees and canopies in Guji, intercropped with false banana and other crops. It has been growing for centuries in ecologically sound and conducive environment in the midst of a wide range of biodiversity in perfect harmony.

Incredible Coffee Bean

I am a huge fan of Ethiopia Sidama Ardi Coffee beans. It is bold and sweet in flavor with a good amount of Caffeine to keep me going through the day. We roasted them at City+ and its the best.

High recommended!!

Great Ethiopian

Probably the best Ethiopian I ever had. I roasted it City+. Highly recommend.

Another GREAT bean from Bodhi Leaf

I use a CROSSLAND espresso machine, created by Bill Crossland (Seattle) who formed his own small espresso machine making company after designing espresso machines in Italy. It's a great machine and it needs GREAT and FRESH coffee beans for it to work. Bodhi Leaf supplies the best Ethiopian beans, and roasting them myself creates the best espresso and the best drip/pour over coffee tastes I've ever had. starbucks does not compete! The Sidama Ardi is a new bean to me; thus bought just 1 lb as a trial; yes, it's good enough to buy 5 lbs now! It's a truly great coffee bean. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Great coffee

Just about perfect

I'm very familiar with previous years of this coffee both as a home roaster and commercial cold brew mfg. This coffee can be so good it is hard to believe. Only roasted 1 batch so far but very aromatic and fruity without being funky and over fermented. Super good.

farm to cup

We get our beans from the farms and roast coffee daily. We truly are farm to cup.
