Description:This coffee comes from the town of Werka located in the fertile highlands of the Sidamo region in southern Ethiopia. It is produced at the Gora Kone Washing Station which has been in operation for seven years. There are over 700 farmers that contribute coffee cherries throughout the harvest period to this wet mill. The coffee cherries are hand sorted and floated before being depulped by a traditional disc pulper. Cherries are then fully washed and dried for 10-12 days on raised beds.
