Description: This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in northern Chiapas. For decades, the region has been the center of political and thence conflict. The Zapatista movement prevented any large coffee farms from coming into existence, due to their demands for indigenous rights and land access. Because of this, coffee has been cultivated mainly by these smallholder farmers who take pride in the coffee they produce, generally under 15 bags of annual production.
Our export partner for this coffee has strict quality standards in place to make sure this coffee has very low imperfections, ensuring a high scoring coffee.
This one is a great option for a daily drinker, a cup profile that you want to wake up to, and just keep drinking until the doctor suggests you stop. We get notes of Roasted Hazelnut, Honey, and pop of Grapefruit acidity.
