Description: Javanica is a rare low-yield variety of coffee, that typically produces a uniquely balanced and complex cup. This coffee was grown in Matagalpa, Nicaragua at an altitude of 850 - 1110 meters by the Limoncillo farm. 

Limoncillo is owned by the Mierisch Family and managed by Santos Demitris Flores. This farm was given its name from an unusual growth of lemon trees that were originally found there. It is a huge farm at 171 hectares and heavy forest provide plenty of shade for the coffee. This farm was awarded 2nd place in the 2008 Cup Of Excellence.
