Description:  Located in the Southern Province of Rwanda, District of Huye, the Simbi Washing Station was built in 2011 and 2012. The Simbi Washing Station employs an average of 85 people over a period of three months, out of them around 80% are women. This Station processes Arabica Bourbon coffee from imbereheza cooperative made up of 250 members (60% women) from Simbi, Maraba, Sovu and Kigoma sectors. The Washing Station processes the coffee of surrounding neighbors in the Simbi Sector as well as others coming from Maraba Sector in Cells of Buremera and Shanga. The area has the same agro-ecological conditions as the Maraba sector, which has continually revealed its uniqueness in producing the best coffee! In the Rwanda Cup of Excellence 2015 Simbi came in 7th place!


We get our beans from the farms and roast coffee daily. We truly are farm to cup.
