After enjoying a bright cup of hand drip coffee at a local coffee shop, decided to recreate that experience at home. Ive tried most all of Bodhi’s offering of dark and medium blends, and enjoy them with the breville barista touch espresso machine. I do have a (ten year old) drip and (an even older) French press, tucked inside the cabinet, so I pulled them out. Got some great cups of coffee, and enjoyed the less acidic option. Nice option to have, and even pulled some shots but can’t get the full sensory experience as an espresso, Not a “cupping” drinker, but the maple syrup and almond is there. There’s a bright fruit, but I’m no green apple eater. Will be re-purchasing for the afternoon brew.
Love the smooth taste! Thank you for the convience of a 5 pound bag ready for pick up :)
Just tried this morning. Undecided. Low acid is good, searching for a flavor that emerges from the blend and couldn't find it. Will try again tomorrow...Low acid is what I want, but a medium strength. Usually order the Guatemala Quetzal, but it is higher acid than I want....
Bodhi Zen has become our go to everyday coffee. Though I usually go for single origin coffees this blend is so full of flavor and body, a great way to start the day.
Just a really good coffee and my go to.
