Description: Fazenda do Salto is a farm that has been passed down for generations in the Reis Family. Fabio Araújo Reis, the eldest, began growing coffee at a very young age and even stayed dedicated to his family farm while in medical school. Today the farm is run by his sons André and Juca. This lot is named after Juca’s son who manages operations at Salto, Octavio (or Otávio). We’ve worked with coffee from Salto since 2016, and year after year we really love the cup profile. This lot, named after Octavio Reis, is well-rounded with lots of sweetness and a big body, we get notes of Dates, Red Apple, and a Creamy body.
