Description: Coffee production at Rancho Grande Farm began in 1933 when Mr. Aneite Reis inherited 5 hectares of land. Over the years, the farm has evolved, continuously enhancing its production techniques through the dedicated efforts of its management team. Today, it is overseen by José Carlos Reis and his son Flávio Reis, who represent the second and third generations of the Reis family. The farm’s mission is to responsibly produce the highest quality coffee while prioritizing environmental protection and the well-being of its employees. Their commitment to excellence drives them to consistently improve the quality of their coffee, ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the forefront of their endeavors.
This coffee lot underwent a very special and controlled fermentation process. For 60 hours, the beans were fermented on a plastic tarp in the drying patio, under the sun. To ensure balanced fermentation, the coffee was wrapped like an envelope, minimizing the entry of oxygen and creating an ideal environment for flavor development. After this period, the beans were carefully removed from the tarp and spread out on the patio for drying.
