Good Coffee ☕️

This is a great go to bean.

Columbia Patroness

I have been buying this particular green coffee for a good while.I particularly like the fact that has a full body and not to acidic .My wife enjoys the flavor to.Columbia coffee is one of my favorite coffee regions of the world to buy coffee from.I tend to stick to it and also coffee from Brazil and Costa Rica.I think these three coffee regions have some of the best produced coffee in the world.

The best

I own a small coffee shop and we bought the Patroness until it sold out. Everyone in town loved it!

Good - but many quakers!

I’ve roasted about 60 lbs of the patroness. It’s a fantastic everyday drinker that non-coffee snobs enjoy as much as the rest of us. There are, however, far more quakers and deformed beans than any other coffee I’ve roasted... just take a few minutes to go through your batch after roasting!

Classic Colombian, develops quickly.

Very classic Colombian flavors at a light roast. Clean, bright, sweet, juicy, with a subtle cherry note and some chocolate. I started with my go-to roasting profile on my Fresh Roast which works well on a lot of washed. With those settings I usually go about 1:30 into development and about + 15 to 20 degrees above first crack temp. Normally with this profile I get 12-13% weight loss for a light city roast. With the Patroness, my first couple roasts were closer to 15-16% and tasted a little roasty. I also noticed audible first crack starts a little later or about 10 degrees higher than most washed. My favorite roasts with this bean were only about 1:00 of development, with end of roast only about 10 degrees above audible 1c temp. This resulted in a nice city roast with about 13.9% wt loss.

farm to cup

We get our beans from the farms and roast coffee daily. We truly are farm to cup.
