Description: This unique blend exclusive to Bodhi Leaf is made up of multiple small farms, with each lot cupped religiously to find the perfect balanced cup that best represents Antioquia. This area is home to Colombia’s only canonized saint, and inspiration for the art, Madre Laura. The Patroness comes from Jerico, Antioquia, a small Catholic town who maintains a rich coffee culture, producing some of the country’s best coffees despite limited access to resources. This specialty regional blend is a staple of ours that we use to highlight Antioquia’s incredible coffee quality, with coffee being a seasonal agricultural product, you can expect changes from harvest to harvest, but we consistently find Patroness to have a very clean cup with juicy, prominent malic acidity (like that of red apples).

Great green coffee

The quality of this one is really good. Beans roasted really well and had similar flavors to the ones listed as tasting notes. I was really pleased with how the size of the beans was consistent throughout the bag I ordered. There was no broken or discolored beans that I saw. Overall I recommend this coffee to anyone looking for a sweeter cup of coffee or a good bean to add sweetness to a blended roast.

Great Smooth Taste.

I roasted this batch at 15.3% humidity loss (City), and it tastes great, really smooth with no aftertaste.

Nice Flavor!

I roasted these beans to a nice medium roast and really like the taste. The smell has a slight toasty scent that is really nice, and the flavor is smooth.

A better Colombian

I recently purchased 5 lbs of these beans. I roast 567g/1.25 lb batches on a BC-2. My first roast was dropped @ 10:40 with an ending temp of 418°F. I'm impressed with the smoothness and flavor of a V-60 pour-over @195°F/ 17:1. Like the title states......one of the better Colombians I have had.
