I found it a bit sour no matter the roast level. Ran city+ through last roast and blend it in with a caffeinated cocoa flavor blends to smooth it to a apple caramel chocolate. Makes a good morning cup.
Very bright by itself.
This is an excellent decaf using the Swiss Water process. I roasted these beans Full City. The nose reveals roasted nuts, cacao, tropical flora and fruit. The smooth taste follows with hazelnut crème, oolong tea and some mild herbs, spices and sweet almonds. The finish leaves a dusting of dark chocolate with medium mandarin orange acidity. All the flavor minus the caffeine.
