Great Roaster! On my 2nd Behmor now.

4 years + already! I have been using the Behmor roaster for over four years now, starting with the previous model and eventually upgrading to the BEHMOR 2000AB PLUS. I purchased it directly from Bodhi Leaf. One of the main reasons I chose this model was because of its faster 2-speed drum. While there is a slight learning curve and occasional cleaning required, I have achieved excellent results with this roaster. Placed many times in the top ranks in competitions.

To manage the chaff that tends to scatter when opening the door, I have found it convenient to roast outside. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that I can roast a full pound of coffee with this model, unlike other roasters in the same price range that offer a smaller capacity. However, I have found that the best results are obtained when roasting between 200 grams to 300 grams of coffee.

I must mention that I acquired valuable knowledge on optimizing my roasting techniques through a roasting class at Bodhi Leaf. Overall, my experience with the BEHMOR 2000AB PLUS has been highly satisfactory, and I have been able to achieve consistently great roasts with it. Other roasters do smaller amounts and are easier and simpler, but not as flexible that give you as much control. Started with a pan to roast, then to a air popper for popcorn, then to the Behmor. Huge improvement.

Behmor coffee roaster

I was roasting my coffee and a popcorn popper, and small batches but with this roaster, I’m able to do large batches and have much better control over the roast. This is definitely a step up to my coffee roasting game. My son-in-law recommended it to me, and I am looking forward to learning all the features. I’m very happy with this coffee roaster.

Great Roaster!

I upgraded from a SR500. My main reason was for batch size and ability to roast in doors at times (depending on roast level, this works without setting an alarm off). I am 4 roast in, slight learning curve but it is a good thing. I would recommend this roaster to anyone. Huge fan!

Behmor 2000ab plus

I like the ease of use and the presets for different regions of beans. There are letter settings that are confusing. It does a great job of roasting.

I live in Alaska and have had trouble finding a retailer who would ship a Behmor coffee roaster to my remote location. Bodhi not only filled the order but also through in 5 pounds of green coffee beans with a minimal shipping charge. Great service, I’ll be doing more business with Bodhi.
