Description:Established in 2019, this Gesha-region farm may not have the fame of Yirgacheffe or Guji, but it produces some of Ethiopia’s most prized varieties, including Gesha 1931 and its sibling, Gori Gesha, one of the oldest known coffee types originating from the nearby Gori Gesha Forest.
Owned and operated by our export partner, the farm maintains close control over picking and processing, producing everything from anaerobic and carbonic maceration to classic naturals. This lot is a sister to their Carbonic Maceration release, sharing a 92-hour fermentation but without added CO₂. It was also picked from cherries with unusually high sugar levels (22° Brix, compared to the typical 18). So yeah, it's quite sweet and tasty!
This is one of the most distinctive coffees we bring in each harvest—complex, dynamic, and unforgettable. Buckle up and enjoy the ride.
