Is working fine but really needs to be connected to your outlet closest to the main electrical panel, and with nothing else drawing on that circuit. I eventually drop to the lowest fan setting to get the temp to 430-440, but that's the best I can do. That barely gets me past first crack. I'm going to add a circuit right at the panel in the garage.
My home roasting years ago started on the Fresh Roast SR500 and I always liked the unit. It is still in use today. Today my new SR540 arrived from Bodhi Leaf and I took it for its first spin. Very impressive! The improvements over the SR500 are significant in all areas: a larger roast cylinder, more roast options and a quieter motor. Not only did the unit arrive fast, the staff at Bodhi Leaf included a great selection of green beans that were included in the purchase price. Very excellent service, thank you!
First things first the roaster arrived on time. Was excited to. Try it and move on from roasting with my hot air popper. But bummer the really weak little stops on the chaff collector was broken off. Hats off to
Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders they got a replacement in 2 days. I have done 3 roasts and I am still learning how to get an even one. Though it's a work in progress the coffee sample I tried first is great Columbian Patroness
