Description: Farmers in the Kintamani Highlands originally grew citrus as their main crop. Over time they started planting coffee in between the citrus trees to get more out of their land, and since both crops shared the same fertilization, the coffee did well. It gradually became a primary source of income, supporting farming families across the region.

The washing station buys coffee cherries directly from local farmers and processes them into specialty, export-ready coffee. This lot is a natural, and the key to its quality is a carefully controlled fermentation that shapes the flavor and character of the cup.The varieties are B-1 and Kate Kartika, grown at 1,300 to 1,600 meters. Kartika is a compact dwarf type of Catuaí, and the "kate" in the name is derived from the local word for dwarf.
