Description: This naturally processed lot comes from the Kindeng smallholder farmer network, whose commitment to quality has made Arufa Natural a standout coffee for more than a decade. Coffee is grown in the remote Arufa and Kindeng regions at elevations between 1,520 and 1,770 meters above sea level. Surrounded by rugged mountains and cultivated on small family-owned "coffee gardens," these farms continue a growing tradition that dates back to the region's earliest days of cultivation. Most producers manage less than one hectare, with every stage of production — from harvesting to processing — carried out entirely by hand.
Only ripe cherries are selectively harvested before being sun-dried for nearly a month, allowing the fruit's natural sugars to develop complexity and sweetness. Once dried, the coffee is delivered to a local dry mill for final preparation before export.
The result is a naturally processed coffee that's rich, expressive, and full of vibrant character that’s very sweet and fruity.
