These were part of one of Steve's favorites... The others in the group roasted well and tasted great, but these beans were oddly brittle, and when they finally met my grinder they nearly destroyed it. Probably just a bad batch. Anyway, one star.

Great coffee. Wanton disregard for the environment with the plastic bags. What a shame, given your boasting about family farms and so forth.

I roasted this batch specifically for espresso, the notes are accurate and the bean produced a well balanced and smooth shot
