Very disappointed

I have purchased this and other coffee from Bodhi Leaf before and have always been very pleased. This batch, however, looks terrible. There are many split beans in the batch, many that are discolored, some shriveled and some that are very small. I found several that have other types of imperfections, as well. Granted, I am by no means an expert, but I have been purchasing green coffee for several years and have never seen a batch that looks quite as irregular as this one.

I can’t speak to the flavor, unfortunately, because I bought a new roaster at the same time that I am trying to figure out. So far I haven’t come up with a roast setting that I like, but I really believe it is user error. However, given the appearance of the beans, I have to wonder if they play any part in my inability to get a decent roast.

farm to cup

We get our beans from the farms and roast coffee daily. We truly are farm to cup.
