Description: This Organic lot comes to us from San Ignacio in Northern Peru. The region was among the first regions in Peru to commercialize coffee production, turning a cultural staple into a source of income over 200 years ago, and we’re all lucky for that. The region is one of our favorites for the Daily Drinker style of coffees. In the highlands of San Ignacio, coffee grows at very high elevation, which makes for very clean cup, well balanced cup profiles.
We’re big fans of Peruvian coffee (and food), and have plans to expand our current relationships to some producers who we’ve known for a long time, so keep your eyes out for even more to come! As for this lot, we love this traditional cup profile with notes of Red Apple, Almond, and Black Tea.
